RE: 2006-2007 Call for Research Proposals – Effect of Raisins on Oral Health, especially Teeth and Gum Health
The California Raisin Marketing Board (CRMB) is now accepting research proposals for FY 2006-2007. Research proposals are due July 14, 2006.
At present, we are interested in proposals involving either human or animal subjects that will assess the effects of raisins on oral health, especially, teeth and gums.
Please adhere to the enclosed guidelines when submitting your proposal(s), quarterly reports, annual progress report(s) and final report(s). For projects funded during FY 2006-2007, the Board will require an annual report of progress detailing the experiments undertaken and the major findings or accomplishments of the work be attached to all continuing research proposals. The due date for these reports and proposals will be July 14, 2006. An annual report must be attached to all continuing research proposals at the time of their submission. Continuing research proposals will not be accepted without an annual report. Please refer to the Annual Report Template enclosed. A Final Report must be submitted upon completion of the study.
Our review committees will rely heavily on the information presented in the annual report to evaluate the extent of progress on the stated project objectives and determine funding recommendations.
